This morning I saw the first dark-eyed junco, a spring bird returned home, and because the junco reminds me of the circularity of seasons and life, I thought of John O’Donohue and his writings on ‘the boldness of dawn.’ Here are a few lines from Anam Cara—
Each day, the dawn unveils the mystery of this universe. Dawn is the ultimate surprise; it awakens us to the immense “thereness” of nature. . . We come out of the darkness of winter into the possibility and effervescence of springtime.”

Wow! What a gorgeous sunrise! I love silhouettes…and the mountains perform perfectly in that capacity!
Stunning!
